In modern world today, most countries cannot avoid from social problems. There are always news about dangerous crimes that were caused by criminals. People who are involved in crimes are adults and teenagers. Teenagers who wear school uniform are not afraid anymore to do things that were not immorally wrong, such as involved in social problems. Thus, there are causes and effects of social problems in tertiary education.
The first cause is today, modern technology make people more advance. The superb inventions make people feel so free and beyond their limitation in viewing and searching whatever they want. This is what internet does. Internet allows people to explore on many things such as virtual friends, research, selling stuff and lots more. Now, everyone knows how to use the internet. However it depends on the person whether he use it for the right purpose or not. We sometimes heard that teenagers, who lack of attention from parents, love to find friends and watch movies. They are tend to make movies such as war, murder and more. This behaviour can easily made teenagers today becoming more savage, and cause them to plunge in social problems.
In addition, teenagers are now influenced by things that happen around them. Everyone loves to watch television program and films especially teenagers. We can see that there are many television program and films contain different stories and events. In such program and films there are parts that contains violence such as crime, war, martial arts, murders and more. Teenagers seem to love these kinds of shows. They get excited to see the actors fighting and killing someone until die. When they enjoy watching it, we can say that they cannot avoid to be influenced by the actors actions in the story. Later on, when they can develop the actions, they will work on something or someone to make it happen lively will neglect. As a result, they will neglect their studies.
The effects are that communities are now facing difficulties to train young generations to become an intelligent and can function in a society. This is because minds of young generation are poisoned with such nonsense behaviour from their siblings. They may focus on how to make other people afraid of them and follow their command. They have no respect towards people who are older than them. All they want is people to respect them. When this situation continues to happen, other countries will underestimate use and there are possibilities that others might exclude us and our future generations.
Last but not least, the education is no longer important to them. This happens because from their perception to be intelligent people need a lot of sacrifaction at young age. All it need is an effort to focus only on studying and lessen all the fun activities such as playing games and hang out with friends. When they are only studying, they will miss all the freedom at their young age. That is why they did not like to study, for them it just a waste of time. This will produce bad students in schools and can cause a cloudy future. They will face difficulties to get excellent job and gain the respect from other people.
